London Tower Bridge Travel Gallery

London Tower Bridge Travel Gallery
London is the most fascinating tourist attractions in the world. The city offers free sight seeing tours for the tourists where while exploring the attractions one can also learn about the history of these destinations.

London Bridge was the only crossing over the Thames. As London grew, so more bridges were added, but these were all to the west of London Bridge, since the area east of London Bridge had become a busy port. In the 19th century, the east end of London became so densely populated that public pressure mounted for a bridge to the east of London Bridge, as journeys for pedestrians and vehicles were being delayed literally by hours.

I had been wandering on foot in London for more than 6 hours; travelling on foot in London is not a bad option, that is if you have a strong pair of legs. It was getting dark, time to end my London foot tour. I boarded on the Underground with one last thing in mind… I dropped by the station near Big Ben to have a glimpse of the night view of the clock tower and House of Parliament before heading back to Chiswick.
